FAQ

What counties/areas does Ohio Pesty Critter Ridder service?
Ohio Pesty Critter Ridder services the counties of Summit, Stark, Wayne and Medina. Pest and nuisance animal control in Akron, Tallmadge, Canton, Massillon, Uniontown and Hartville are our most frequent customers.
Are the animals euthanized?
Ultimately, the most humane solution is always the best course of action. Many times, animals can merely be relocated. Sometimes, a sick or dangerous animal can't be dealt with by simple relocation - if your OCC professional is of the opinion that the animal is suffering from illness or dangerous behavior, the most humane course of action is to gently euthanize the animal.
Why doesn't OCC deal with domestic animals?
Your local animal control center will deal with dogs and cats for free. Because these animals may belong to someone, and there are laws governing the handling of domestic animals, OCC would rather take a hands-off approach to domestic animals. Bottom line - we can't help you with a stray dog or nuisance cat.
